While your membership is frozen, you’ll pay just a $5 monthly Freeze Fee.
For every successfully completed freeze month, The Reef adds an extra $2, giving you $7 in Reef Rewards for every month you’re frozen.
That means:
3 months frozen = $21 in Reef Rewards
6 months frozen = $42 in Reef Rewards
12 months frozen = $84 in Reef Rewards

Your membership may remain frozen for up to 12 consecutive months, allowing you to accumulate up to $84 in Reef Rewards.
You can reactivate your membership at any time during those 12 months.
Once your paid membership is reactivated, your accumulated Reef Rewards become available to use toward eligible retail products, service upgrades, and select à-la-carte services at The Reef.
At the end of 12 months, we will not automatically reactivate your membership or begin charging your regular membership dues.
Instead, you’ll receive a 30-day Reactivation Grace Period to decide if you’re ready to return.
During this 30-day grace period:
Reactivate your paid membership during the grace period and your Reef Rewards are yours to enjoy.
If you choose not to reactivate by the end of the 30-day grace period, your membership will close and any accumulated Reef Rewards will be forfeited.

Members must complete at least one full monthly membership draft before becoming eligible to freeze.
Freeze requests must be submitted through our online freeze request form.
To unfreeze your membership, visit any Reef Tanning location and pay the prorated amount for the remaining days in the month.
NOTE: If you wish to freeze your membership again, you must submit a new freeze request.
Cancellation and Freeze requests MUST be submitted at least 10 days before your next payment due date/draw date to go into effect.
Yes! After 30 days from your initial sign-up date, you can freeze and unfreeze your membership as much as you like, giving you flexibility when you need it.
Yes! You will still have the rest of the month to tan after you submit your freeze request. Your freeze won’t take effect until the following payment date.
