Freeze and Cancellation Policy

Freeze, cancellation, or membership change requests must be submitted at least 10 days before your next billing draw date to take effect. Membership cancellations or status changes may only be requested after 30 days from the initial sign-up date and after the first billing draw.

Members may freeze their account for up to six (6) months. During this time, a $5 monthly freeze fee will be charged to keep the membership active and lock in your current rate. When the membership is reactivated, the total freeze fees paid will be returned as in-store credit, along with an additional $2 per month frozen (credit cannot be applied toward membership dues). The membership must remain in good standing during the freeze period—any declined $5 freeze payment will immediately void the freeze agreement. Once reactivated, any accrued credit must be used within 30 days or it will expire, and after six months the membership will automatically resume regular billing at the previous rate.

Freeze Membership FAQs

Freezing your membership allows you to temporarily pause regular billing while keeping your membership active. While frozen, your account will be charged $5 per month. This fee will be refunded when your membership is reinstated, along with an additional $2 per month frozen, issued as in-store credit (credits may not be applied toward membership dues).

Freezing your membership also locks in your current rate, so your price will not increase when you return. Memberships may be frozen for up to six (6) months, after which regular billing will automatically resume at your previous rate.

Please note: All membership changes, including freezes and cancellations, may only be processed after the first billing draw.

Freeze requests must be submitted through our online freeze request form.

To unfreeze your membership, visit any Reef Tanning location and pay the prorated amount for the remaining days in the month.

NOTE: If you wish to freeze your membership again, you must submit a new freeze request.

Cancellation and Freeze requests MUST be submitted at least 10 days before your next payment due date/draw date to go into effect.

Yes! After 30 days from your initial sign-up date, you can freeze and unfreeze your membership as much as you like, giving you flexibility when you need it.

Yes! You will still have the rest of the month to tan after you submit your freeze request. Your freeze won’t take effect until the following payment date.
